Document Management

Note: You can associate a document with a Project and/or Area. Choose from a list of files that have been already uploaded or were generated by the system. e.g. kml files. The tool will match project, area and file type to the best of its ability. This means the file name conventions are strictly followed, Of course, you can match it to whatever you want it to be ... System generated files are automatically assigned to the project. [not implemented yet]

You can also upload new documents.

By default documents that have already been associated with projects will not appear on this list. [Not implemented yet]

Capture file processing
Work In Progress
Squid generates a csv file after every data-set capture at way point locations. After every "Start", "Stop", "Publish" cycle the data-set is written to a csv file. Each data-set needs to be tagged manually with the grid-square id which is essentially the locator id (e.g. A1, D3). Please see details on how to tag these files.

Once the file is tagged, upload the file (Document Management). After the document is uploaded successfully it needs to be associated to a project and an area within the project. The area association may not affect if there is only one area associated with the project. You need to associate a file to a project only once and future uploads with the same file name will remain associated with the project until such time it is reassigned administratively.

Once the file is associated and it contains cell parameter information use the Capture file processing utility to pre process the data-sets for importing into the database.

Files must be loaded into the system so that they can be assigned to a project or area.
